She ran at the inorgural Scottish "McGoodwood" with BRDC member Gordon Bruce sharing, coming in 14th o/a of 22 cars, 1st saloon in class, and won her class at Mallory Park in both Top Hat and Oldies But Goldies.

It has full FIA and FIVA papers a strong engine, loads of recent work replacing all pannels below her waist line. It won the class at Mallory in October -beating the Jim Utting and Smith-Fitchet cars.

Comes with loads of spares - 2 engines, rally lights, gear box, carbs etc.

With the spares and a set of Minilites as well as another set of wheels.

I got many bodyparts (doors, bonnets, spoilers etc.), many of which cannot be found like the original type of wings in plactic, bonnets . I also got the original cramshaft of this Ascona 400 with its 8 counterweights, a never rectified cylinderhead, connecting rods, original 400 pistons , 2 nude 400 blocks (unfoundable), many parts for front and rear axles, 2 Commodore C rearaxles (almost idem 400 évo2), complete escapes, shock absorbers, 12 wheels in 8 and 10X15, around thirty wheels in TRX (asphalt and forest) etc....
It was rebuilt from the FIA group 4 card( 666 ) which contains 29 extensions. I chose to rebuild it obviously as the maxi group 4 in 1981. Seats, harness, manos, steering wheel, electric bundle: everything is new.

Alfa Sprint Green Cloverleaf
Winter Restoration/Historic Race Car Project

Alfa Sprint Body work fully restored using all new panels and repainted in the correct Alfa red. Three owners from new and the mileage indicated is 47577 which I believe to be genuine.

The car was completely stripped for the restoration but all the original parts are with it including the original engine, gearbox and Pepperpot wheels with excellent tyres together with many more parts of interior and exterior trim, bumpers, etc to enable the building of an absolutely concours model.

Also included in the sale are many more Sprint parts such as wheels, suspension and mechanical parts, glass, panels and a spare 1500 cc engine - you'll need a van to take it all away!

These cars were great fun to drive. They were fast, reliable, practical and cheap to run and this represents an opportunity to build one of the finest examples in the UK. All the expensive work has been done - it now has to be put back together and I just don't have the time to do it.

Alternatively, this package could be the basis for a tremendous Historic race or rally car. It's already fitted with Koni adjustable shock absorbers so that's a start!!

Should you wish to take this option, I have more competition Sprint parts such as wheels, a Westune 1300 cc 120 BHP engine and 4 or 5 speed close ratio gearboxes. These would be available by separate negotiation. I can also help with advice if required.
